The California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) is a California ballot measure that was passed into law on November 3, 2020. The law is set to fully replace the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in January 2023.

It modifies the CCPA by giving consumers more rights over their information, setting stricter data-collection guidelines for businesses, and raising the compliance threshold so less small- and medium-sized businesses are subject to comply.
